FOS is the artistic name of Thomas Poulsen, a Danish artist born in 1971 who splits his time between Copenhagen and Venice. His practice ranges from sculpture to installation, from architecture to design.

His works encourage interaction and reflect on traditions and social systems, exploring how human perception is shaped by context. A key concept in his work is that of Social Design.
