Aldo Londi

Aldo Londi

Born in 1911 in Montelupo Fiorentino, Aldo Londi lived a life dedicated to art: he was a painter and sculptor, but above all, a ceramist. For over fifty years, he collaborated with Bitossi – first as artistic director, then as a long-term partner.

His deep ceramic expertise and artistic sensitivity, combined with a natural inclination for research, allowed him to embark on bold creative journeys and define a new expressive language.

Rimini Blu

Rimini Blu

The iconic Rimini Blu series, produced since 1959, stands out for its distinctive surface texture. The decoration – made up of markings that form a fantastical round dance of abstract-geometric elements, sealed beneath the blue glaze – evokes the play of light on the surface of the sea.

The Riedizioni collection recreates Aldo Londi’s ceramic works from the 1950s, 60s, and 70s, preserved in the Bitossi Museum Archive. Produced in limited editions, each piece bears the original inventory number on its base, along with the name of the historic brand “Cav. G. Bitossi & Figli.”
